An evening full of stories, music, and an audience that definitely won't stay on the sofa
Liam & Bill Mockridge bring STORIES to Koblenz, a comedy and storytelling evening that feels like a personal glimpse behind the scenes. At Café Hahn, fine punchlines, lively narrative art, and musical moments come together – a laughing experience filled with charm, timing, and a strong stage presence.
Stories that resonate
Bill Mockridge has been a reliable presence in cabaret, acting, and live entertainment for decades. For this evening, he opens the storybook wide: from the first kiss to big life chapters to family moments that suddenly seem larger on stage than any television studio. The narrator's voice carries, while Liam Mockridge on the piano sets musical accents – and exactly from this arises the special comedy atmosphere where the audience not only laughs but also engages.
Intimate, direct, and with fine timing
The format thrives on closeness. No overloaded show, no barrage of effects, but an evening that relies on interaction, presence, and narrative precision. The combination of stories and songs ensures dynamics, sometimes warm-hearted, sometimes with a wink, sometimes surprisingly open. Those who know stand-up only as quick punchlines will experience the elegant variant here: punchlines with resonance instead of slapstick with short-term effects.
Café Hahn as the perfect stage
The Café Hahn fits perfectly with its seated atmosphere for this program. The space is designed for closeness, the audience's reaction comes back directly, and that makes such evenings strong. With doors opening at 6:30 PM and starting at 8:00 PM, there is enough time for a relaxed arrival, wardrobe, and the last look at the menu before the storytelling takes over.
What the audience can expect
An evening balancing humor, memory, and musical lightness – carried by an entertainer who has understood his audience for years. Those who love stories that are not only nicely told but truly played and felt should mark this date. Live, it all works strongest: direct, close, vibrant, and with a type of humor that continues to resonate on the way home.
Conclusion: STORIES promises in Koblenz a warm, pointed, and surprisingly personal comedy evening with music. Anyone wanting to experience Bill Mockridge live gets at Café Hahn exactly the mixture of stage, closeness, and good mood that cannot be streamed.
