Action Painting in Koblenz: Colors, Freedom, and a Real Art Experience
On December 18, 2026, ARTogether Koblenz invites you to a creative morning that understands painting as an immediate aesthetic experience. In Action Painting, the perfect result is not the focus, but the moment: color, movement, spontaneity, and the joy of engaging in a free pictorial event. According to the organizer, the format is suitable for adults and children and is accessible even without prior knowledge. When Painting Becomes Movement
Action Painting historically belongs to the legacy of expressive, process-oriented methods of the 20th century. Here, painting is not only observed but also physically enacted: splattering, pouring, wiping, and placing color accents transform the canvas into a stage of gesture. This is precisely where the special exhibition atmosphere of this offering lies: the studio becomes an experiential space where material, rhythm, and chance interact. Creative Without Pressure, Open to All
ARTogether emphasizes on its own website that it is not about perfect results, but real experiences. The concept is based on accessibility, group-friendliness, and the joy of experimenting. Children from two years can also participate with supervision; suitable protective clothing, painter suits, and shoe covers ensure a relaxed approach to color. Location, Process, and Practical Guidance
The event takes place at ARTogether Koblenz at Zentralplatz 2 in 56068 Koblenz, in the midst of the Forum Mittelrhein area. According to the organizer, parking in the Apcoa parking garage of Forum Mittelrhein is available on-site in Koblenz. The regular opening hours are Friday and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, making the appointment a good fit for a creative day trip. Materials, Extras, and Work Review
Particularly appealing are the additional materials offered: glitter, neon colors, and gold, silver, and rose leaves expand the spectrum between playful gesture and luminous surface. The resulting works oscillate between spontaneous improvisation and deliberately placed color tone. Those who take the canvas home not only keep a picture but also the memory of an intense moment of artistic freedom.
