Waterworks Oberwerth parkrun: Koblenz runs together into the weekend

Run, jog, or walk together at Waterworks Oberwerth

On Saturday, November 7, 2026, the Waterworks Oberwerth parkrun will start at 09:00 in Koblenz. The free 5-kilometer event combines exercise, community, and an open stadium atmosphere at Oberwerth. Participants run, jog, or walk the course at their own pace.

Five kilometers for every pace

Whether it’s an ambitious run, a relaxed training kilometer, or a first joint walk: at parkrun, participation is what counts. There is no fixed pace. The event is aimed at different performance levels and creates excitement without competitive pressure.

Community instead of individual struggle

The Waterworks Oberwerth parkrun is supported by volunteers. Before the start, orientation and a shared kickoff are the focus. There are no fan chants from the stands, but motivating shouts, audience noise from the running group, and the special energy of a joint start.

Well prepared at the starting line

Participation is free. For an official result, a one-time free registration at parkrun and a personal barcode are required. The barcode can be printed, brought on a smartphone, or on a running watch. Those who want to run or walk without timing can also participate.

Conclusion: Koblenz runs together

The Waterworks Oberwerth parkrun offers an active start to the weekend, a friendly running community, and five kilometers of movement at Oberwerth. Anyone who wants to experience the stadium atmosphere from a runner's perspective should lace up their running shoes and enjoy Saturday morning live in Koblenz.
