Christmas Variety Show at Café Hahn: When Koblenz Flips into Colorful Variety Art
At Café Hahn in Koblenz-Güls, the Christmas Variety Show 2026 unfolds an evening of acrobatics, humor, and that delightful over-the-top quality that makes variety irresistible. Under the motto Outrageous and Offbeat instead of Reflective, festive anticipation meets stage art that is accessible, lively, and full of tempo.
An Evening Full of Tempo, Wit, and Body Art
The production focuses on closeness instead of distance: The intimate variety theater brings the audience directly close to the artists. This is precisely what makes this stage experience captivating. When acrobatics, quirky humor, and precisely timed show moments intertwine, the theater atmosphere arises in which even great Christmas fatigue immediately fades away.
Café Hahn as a Stage with History
For over 40 years, Café Hahn has been one of the established cultural icons in Rhineland-Palatinate. The venue in Koblenz-Güls represents a versatile program of cabaret, comedy, concerts, and variety. With its manageable capacity of around 450 people, a concentrated audience reaction develops that carries every punchline and each artistic twist particularly intensely.
Dramaturgy Between Festivity and Freshness
Directed by Karl-Heinz Helmschrot, whose name has long been associated with Café Hahn and its variety formats. The dramaturgical structure of the evening does not follow a quiet reflection, but a lively sequence of surprises, comedic tensions, and artistic highlights. This creates a show that reinterprets Christmas with its own signature: light, sparkling, cheeky, and technically precise.
