Enjoyable Cellar Tour with Wine Tasting at Göhlen Winery
In the Koblenz Mühlental, this cellar tour combines artisanal wine culture with an atmospheric wine tasting. Göhlen Winery offers a glimpse behind the scenes of a traditional family business that has been rooted in the region since 1921.
A Discovery Experience between Rock Cellar and Tank Storage
The tour leads through the modern tank cellar and the traditional wooden barrel rock cellar. Visitors experience how a regional wine culture creates an atmospheric discovery experience: knowledgeable insights into the maturation, storage, and philosophy of a Middle Rhine winery, along with the special cellar romance of the historic rooms.
Wine Tasting with Middle Rhine Character
The tour includes a wine tasting with five wines. The ambiance ranges from cozy to Mediterranean: In warm weather, tastings are held in the courtyard under grapevines and on sunny terraces, while in cooler times, they take place in the tasting room. Thus, the city tour through the wine culture of Koblenz becomes a delightful cultural enrichment.
Location, Arrival, and Practical Information
The meeting point is Göhlen Winery in Koblenz-Ehrenbreitstein. Directions are well described for both car and public transport; there is a bus parking area on site.
